Creating sheet metal products usually requires CAD unfold drawing data, which is the basis for NC machining.
2.5D Sheet Metal is add-on software for creating sheet metal unfold drawing data in AutoCAD.
In recent years, it has become more common to create 3D data and use sheet metal functions to create unfold drawing, but for some shapes, 2DCAD is more convenient.
Data created with 2.5D sheet metal can be transferred to 2D CAD as unfold drawing data and to 3D CAD as three-dimensional data.
And the data can be converted and utilized.

1. Create basic unfold drawing data
Create a basic unfold drawing by specifying materials, plate thickness, etc.

The 3D data is automatically generated from the basic unfold drawing plan you have created.
3. Output and verify three-view drawings
From the 3D data, create a 2D three-view plan for verification.
