Moalboal water's user fee
The Municipality of Moalboal has in 2010 implemented an ordinance, collecting a divers fee of 100 Pesos/Dive covering all dive sites in the municipality of Moalboal.
The proceed of the collection will be shared, the fisherman s association gets 40%, Barangay 30%, and Municipal 30%. It has been agreed that the share will be used for environmental protection. Conservation and maintenance of mooring buoys of all the dive sites as well as the marine sanctuaries.
